Miami Beach, Fl - March 23-25, 2014

The 12th North American Chevra Kadisha and Jewish Cemetery Conference will be at Temple Beth Sholom, located at 4144 Chase Avenue (near the corner of West 41st St. - also called Arthur Godfrey Ave.), Miami Beach, Florida 33140.

The conference site is just 10 miles from the Miami International Airport.

The Miami Beach Airport Flyer makes traveling to or from Miami International Airport to Miami Beach fast, easy and convenient. For just $2.65 each way, passengers can ride in style aboard 40-foot buses equipped with luggage racks and comfortable seating.

From the airport, take the free MIA Mover train to the Central Station. Buses leave from the ground level.

The Miami Beach Airport Flyer runs every 30 minutes and provides express service from 6 a.m. to 11:40 p.m., seven days a week, between the Miami International Airport Metrorail station (just a short MIA Mover ride away from MIA) and Miami Beach (from 41st Street to South Pointe Drive).

Stops at 41st and Alton - (a 6 minute walk to the conference site) or

41st and Indian Creek - (a one block walk to Collins Ave.)

Or

Fast Shuttle offers private and shared ride shuttle services from Miami Airport.

Our conference is during the same week as the Winter Music Conference (WMC) to be held March 21-30. WMC expects over 100,000 attendees, 2/3 of whom will be under 30. Their events will be at the Convention Center, about 2 miles south of where our conference is located. There will be competition for hotel rooms and discounted rates will be difficult to find.

There are about 200 hotels in Miami Beach. We considered trip advisor reviews, distance to the conference site, and prices before negotiating favorable rates at three hotels. We recommend making reservations now.
