The 6th North American Chevra Kadisha Conference features lectures, workshops, discussions and networking on Jewish perspectives along the continuum of Bikkur Cholim to death and mourning.

The full conference program is now available from our home page (www.jewish-funerals.org and click on conference info at top left ) or go directly to the program at www.jewish-funerals.org/conference/conferencecontents.htm.

You can view the plenary sessions, and the four workshop tracks: Tahara and Chevra Kadisha organizing, spiritual and emotional aspects of Chevra Kadisha work, chaplaincy at end of life, and Jewish cemetery management issues.

If your community or synagogue is thinking of starting or enhancing a Chevra Kadisha; if you are faced with cemetery management issues; or if you want to add end of life skills to your chaplaincy repertoire, then join us in Edison, NJ on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The conference is open to both professional and lay persons. The $350 full conference rate has been extended to May 15. This rate includes 6 kosher meals and the entire conference program. Register on-line at www.jewish-funerals.org/conference/NewJersey/regformnj.htm

If you can't join us but know of someone who is interested, please pass this e-mail on to them.
